Ideal for anyone who is new to specialty coffee or wants to deepen their knowledge of coffee. Learn the history of coffee from its origins in Africa and how it became one of the world’s most popular drinks and the factors that go into producing Specialty Coffee.
This course will introduce you to coffee cultivation,quality and freshness and the basics of sensory analysis. The course will also look into what defines a quality coffee from roasting to coffee extraction and water quality.
With successful completion of the course you will receive a Certificate from the SCA and gain 10 points towards your SCA diploma.
